All three come from the same tree; the difference is processing. Raw cacao is the seed as nature made it: unfermented, unroasted, bitter and rich in flavanols and polyphenols. Cocoa has been fermented, roasted, pressed and often alkalized, steps that can remove the large majority of those flavanols. Chocolate is cocoa combined with sugar, cocoa butter and often milk. No. Alkalization can remove up to 89% of the flavanols that survive earlier processing. We never use it.

No caffeine is added. Theobromine Warrior™ contains theobromine, a naturally occurring methylxanthine found in cacao. It is related to caffeine but acts more gently and for longer.* If you are sensitive to stimulants, this is not the product for you. Cacao naturally contains trace methylxanthines, so all three formulas contain small naturally occurring amounts.

The sweet white fruit pulp that surrounds the cacao seed inside the pod. It is usually consumed during fermentation and never reaches the chocolate bar. We freeze-dry it and pair it with theobromine in Theobromine Warrior™ as a natural source of cacao polyphenols.*

They are capsules, so you will not taste them. Raw cacao on its own is bitter, not sweet, and nothing like a chocolate bar.

Yes. The capsules are hypromellose (vegetable cellulose). The only other ingredients are L-Leucine and bamboo silica extract.
